‘The Practical Guide to AD’
Following the success of this year’s UK Anaerobic Digestion and Biogas exhibition at the NEC, the Anaerobic Digestion and Biogas Association (ADBA) have launched ‘The Practical Guide to AD’, the first complete reference tool for those developing and operating anaerobic digestion (AD) facilities in the UK.
Developed by Industry experts, the guide aims to boost the development of the expanding AD sector by showcasing best practice and explaining incentives, regulation, and health and safety legislation.
The guide itself documents the consultation period for planning applications being submitted to local authorities for determination by the Planning Committees. Within this section, the ADBA guide details the possible ways in which Noise and Odour need to be considered at an early stage to avoid costly implications. REC has been providing Noise Impact Assessments and Odour Assessments, along with a vast array of other environmental consultancy services, to the AD sector for a number of years.
A link to the full guide can be found here.
REC recently attended this year’s ADBA exhibition and offer environmental consultancy services at both the development and operational phases of AD Facilities. Click through to any of the services below for more information.
