Residential Development Noise
Most residential or mixed use developments require a noise assessment or noise survey to be carried out in support of the planning application in accordance with Planning Guidance Note 24 (PPG 24). This ensures that adequate protection is provided for future residents by minimising adverse noise impacts. Advice is provided in Planning Policy Guidance Note 24 (PPG 24).
