Thursday, 7 September 2017 | Tony Wilson room, Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce, Elliot House, 151 Deansgate, Manchester, Greater Manchester, UK, M3 3WD

The new ProPG (Professional Practice Guidance on Planning & Noise for New Residential Development) noise guidelines were released at the end of last month to provide a more comprehensive approach to noise assessment and management for residential developments. Hosted by REC’s Regional Director, John Goodwin, and REC’s Principal Acoustics Consultant, Lee Faulkner, REC invites you to join its in-house experts for a presentation and discussion around the  new acoustic guidelines and their implications on planning and development.

What will we cover?

In light of the new ProPG, the second seminar in REC’s Breakfast Series will discuss the recently launched noise guidance; explain the interpretation of the guidelines for both external and internal noise criteria for new residential developments, assess the potential implications for noise management processes and look into the application of the guidance for site design with acoustics in mind.

Who is it for?

Developers, their advisors and planners, and those who may come across acoustic considerations within residential developments as part of their work.
