Environmental Permitting

Environmental Permitting Regulations 2010 (EPR 2010) are designed to mitigate industry's impact on the environment.

As a group, REC provides the full range of environmental services required in the application and operation of environmental permitting. Our knowledge of the environmental permitting industry places us in an elevated position in comparison with other Corporate Services businesses. It is this level of service provision that continues to see REC work closely with permit operators many years after initial involvement.

Many industrial activities are now classed as permitted activities whilst other activities may be able to obtain exemptions from the permitting regulations. The Environmental Permitting Regulations are administered and enforced by the Environment Agency and any proposed site activity may require one of a number of Environmental Permits available to be issued. Environmental permitting is also available for bespoke industrial services.

REC Corporate Services continually assist with Environmental Permit applications for all types of industrial sites. REC prepares and submits all required documentation and ensures regular contact with the Environment Agency for our clients to achieve progress with their environmental permitting applications.
