Decommissioning Plans

REC Environmental Management provide Site Decommissioning Plans for the decommissioning and/or demolition of redundant facilities to ensure all site buildings and associated facilities are left in a safe and secure condition. This includes the management of the safe removal of hazardous materials and demolition and removal of buildings.

Working in conjunction with REC’s Asbestos, Geoenvironmental and Air Quality teams REC Environmental Management deliver a number of specialist services in one bespoke package. These services can also be utilised prior to commencement of decommissioning plans and upon full completion of decommissioning plans. 

A number of industrial sites are now being decommissioned for eventual redevelopment. REC Environmental Management’s consultants are highly experienced in this area and have acted as project manager on a number of high profile decommissioning plans.
