NEBOSH Diploma

Successfully passing the NEBOSH Diploma will enable delegates to:

  • Apply for Graduate Membership (Grad IOSH) of IOSH.

  • Receive an invitation to the annual NEBOSH Graduation and Awards.

  • Use the designatory letters 'DipNEBOSH'.

  • Progress to MSc level.

  • Apply for membership of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM) using the designatory letters 'MIIRSM'.

The NEBOSH diploma is also the first step to becoming a Chartered Health and Safety Professional.

NEBOSH Diploma: The Commitment

The NEBOSH Diploma is a Level qualification, equivalent to post-graduate university study. It is not essential for delegates to have completed previous health and safety qualifications, however REC CHSS recommend delegates have previously completed the NEBOSH National General Certificate. The NEBOSH Diploma requires both time and effort investment by delegates with added support from their employers.

REC CHSS develop and create all training materials to ensure high quality and flexibility to meet your requirements. REC CHSS directors are fully qualified NEBOSH examiners for both the NEBOSH National General Certificate and NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.

All Account Managers are NEBOSH trained and they will understand any questions you may have and can provide accurate, useful advice.

The NEBOSH Diploma Course - Units

The NEBOSH Diploma Course consists of three units delivered over a 6 week period.

  • UNIT A: Managing Health and Safety
  • UNIT B: Hazardous Agents in the Workplace
  • UNIT C: Workplace and Work Equipment
  • UNIT D: 8,000 word work-based project, detailing the Health and Safety performance at your organisation
  • 3 half day examinations
