Noise Survey
REC's acoustic engineers are highly qualified and experienced in all forms of noise surveys and have expertise in current noise regulations. Noise surveys can cover a specific area or range of areas to provide you with a complete understanding of the sound levels in those receptors and can be tailored to ensure they provide a complete and accurate record of noise and vibration levels.
REC's acoustic consultancy services ensure the demands of current noise regulations are adhered to, whether commercial, work based, residential or required in response to a complaint from a private individual. REC Acoustics' services use the latest instruments and methodology to allow us to determine precisely what adverse noise impact or noise exposures are present.
REC's acoustic engineers provide noise surveys and noise impact assessments for all noise and vibration requirements. Our acoustic engineers' expert knowledge of Local Authority requirements allows us to carry out noise surveys and noise impact assessment reports in support of planning applications.
A noise survey is often required in support of a planning application in order to determine the exposure to noise levels of proposed residential sites under PPG 24 legislation. The results of environmental noise surveys provide detailed advice in relation to noise control measures. REC Acoustics also carry out sound insulation testing upon build completion of new residential developments.
All REC acoustic engineers are members of the Institute of Acoustics and all noise surveys provide the basis for detailed analytical assessment and can be used to fulfil contractual or regulatory demands for clients in both public and private sectors for noise assessment or acoustic testing.
