Emissions Monitoring Technical / Operations Manager

An opportunity to join a multi-disciplinary air emissions monitoring team. Although the team has UKAS / MCERTS emissions monitoring as the core business, REC do however provide a complete range of air quality services to our clients including odour monitoring, ambient monitoring, workplace monitoring, air and odour impact and traffid impact assessments using dispersion models. We provide these services to a wide range of industrial clients and parter organisations throughout the UK and Ireland with occasional International Work.

Experience / Requirements:

• Must possess a strong technical focus - I.e familiarisation with current standards and methods and the operation of an MCERTS / UKAS quality control system.

• Strong team working, interpersonal and communication skills.

• MCERTS Level 2 Team Leader, TEs 1-4

• Experience in conducting technical audits as part of the quality systemExperience in conducting internal system audits, raising off corrective actions and close out etc.

• Ideally with good all round experience - emissions / ambient air quality / occupational hygiene

• Full clean driving licence

Duties:

• Technical management including review of monitoring methods, training of junior staff, performing of technical competence assessments, on site witness audits and internal quality system audits.

• Operations management, with budgetary control

• Project Management

• Team leading, conducting testing and monitoring of industrial process emissions

• Closing out findings from internal and external (UKAS / EA) audits

• Report writing / reviewing.
