Asbestos Training
Asbestos training from CHSS equips delegates of different levels with the necessary skills to work with asbestos. REC CHSS are strictly independent and provide practical, solution driven training to our clients.
All REC CHSS asbestos training courses all comply with the Control of Asbestos (CAR 2012) Regulations. This commitment to quality ensures that all training delegates remain safe and work within the legal requirements.
CHSS have purpose built, state of the art training facilities throughout the UK in Manchester, Cardiff, Cambridge and Glasgow. CHSS also provide courses in house where a number of delegates require training.
The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) outline the following asbestos training requirements:
"All workers liable to disturb asbestos during their normal working duties should be suitably trained so that they can recognise asbestos containing materials and know what to do if they come across them."
Working with Asbestos is prohibited unless correct training has been provided. Any person who could come into contact with, or disturb Asbestos containing materials is required to receive suitable training. Working without the relevant training is against the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 and could lead to prosecution.
