REC Remediation Ltd & REC Ltd

Staff Recruitment Policy & Incentives

REC Ltd and REC Remediation Ltd are currently looking for a number of new staff to fill vacancies that have arisen because of our continued success within the market sector.

The vacancies range from technicians, consultants, senior consultants, principal consultants to Director grade. We welcome applications for all of our offices in Manchester, East Kilbride, Edinburgh, Huddersfield, Birmingham, Port Talbot, Braintree and Fareham.

Our staff policy is simple we are a very busy small to medium sized organisation, we do not pretend to a large organisation and the staff we employ enjoy working in a thriving and professional environment. All of our staff, including fresh graduates are encouraged to supervise site works, write their own reports, undertake technical assessments and interface with clients.

We certainly do not believe in compartmentalising staff into different work areas, such as writing Phase I desk studies, audits, risk assessments or continually being on site and writing factual reports. We firmly believe that by being exposed to all facets of site investigations and remediation schemes our staff become good consultants enabling them to provide sound and pragmatic advice to our clients.

Staff training is recognised as being an important career driver for many staff and prospective staff and this is recognised in how we develop our budgets each year. As well as sending selected personal on suitable training courses, we regularly conduct internal meetings to discuss technical issues and exchange ideas. Staff that are sent on training courses are asked to deliver a short presentation and disseminate the knowledge.

Any applications should be sent in the first instance to Mr. Paul Furmston by email (paulf@recltd.co.uk) with a CV and covering letter.
